Cat was a four-year starting catcher at the University of South Florida. Named NFCA All-Region and to the All-BIG EAST Third Team as well as BIG EAST Championship All-Tournament Team in 2009. While garnering weekly BIG EAST Honor Roll mentions, Olnick not only led her team but was also ranked top 10 in the BIG EAST for batting average, slugging percentage and on base percentage. Also won a BIG EAST Conference Championship her sophomore year in 2008.
Graduated from American Heritage High School in 2006, and played travel ball with Gold Coast Hurricanes. Currently an assistant coach at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens with Jeff Norman
